What we can learn from kids’ notes

We all know kids say the darndest things, but there’s a lot we can actually learn from them, too. If nothing else, we can just enjoy the entertainment they bring.
It’s never too early to start making a list of goals that you want to accomplish during your lifetime. Have fun with it! Not every item on your list has to be a large-scale goal. Earn some extra kudos: Make a list about your Key Club goals between now and graduation.
If you’ve ever worked on a group project, you know that getting everyone to do their part can sometimes be a challenge. If someone isn’t doing their job right away, give them a gentle reminder. At some point, you might need to confront them in a polite way.
Don’t let your frustration with a team member get in the way of a project that brings something good to many people.
Not every day is going to be awesome, but that’s okay. Never forget that the sun is always going to shine. You just have to see beyond the clouds.
Always be thankful for what you have and the opportunities you’ve been given. If someone helped you get to where you are today, send him or her a thank-you note.
When you have a lot to be thankful for, it’s okay to play favorites sometimes.
And last, but not least, remember to always be your own superhero.
