Kiwanis.org grows up
If Kiwanis became synonymous with leadership development on the ’Net,
Can you imagine all the new resources and benefits you’d get?
It’s not the beginnings of a long lost Dr. Seuss stanza, but it is a glimpse of the possibilities and online offerings on the horizon at kiwanis.org. The site is undergoing an extensive redesign, the first phase of which is scheduled to launch during the 92nd Annual Kiwanis International Convention in San Antonio, July 3-7.
Among the changes underway, the new site will provide easier menus, thus cutting down on the clicks it takes to reach vital information. The landing page will become the central communications hub for the entire Kiwanis family. The redesign will elevate the organization’s brand and message so everyone—prospective members, 20-year Kiwanians, or potential sponsors—understands the Kiwanis mission instantly and can easily navigate in any direction they choose to browse.
All Service Leadership Programs will be represented on the home page, along with the latest news, high-tech features, and legacy elements. Also high on the list of new features are more ways for members to interact with International and one another, including surveys and polls with instant results, a story-sharing section, a service project database, and an improved image gallery.
In early July, the Web site will introduce a new look, getting bigger and better in every way, continuing to evolve with members’ needs. |
