At the 2026 Key Club International Convention, members will come together to support families and children facing medical challenges through two meaningful service initiatives: laundry care kits for the Ronald McDonald House Dallas (RMHD) and activity box kits for The Jared Box Project.
The Ronald McDonald House Dallas provides vital programs and services that ease the financial and emotional burden for families while their children receive critical medical care. One of the most practical ways we can support these families is by assembling laundry kits for those with extended hospital stays.
These kits help ensure families maintain daily necessities while staying close to their child during treatment. At convention, we will prepare as many laundry kits as possible to directly benefit families staying at the RMHD.
The Jared Box Project was founded in 2001 by students at Our Lady of Victory School in State College, Pennsylvania, U.S., in honor of their classmate Jared. Today, it continues to spread joy to children in hospitals, emergency rooms, surgical centers and clinics across the country.
Each “Jared Box” is a carefully curated collection of small toys, games, crayons, coloring books and fun activities tailored for specific age groups and genders. The RMHD will distribute the boxes to children, offering a comforting distraction during difficult moments.
Together, Key Club and CKI members will assemble 200 Jared Boxes and 200 laundry kits for the Ronald McDonald House Dallas to distribute.
