How to donate money

You can support the service and activities of Key Club members. Opportunities range from our partnerships with other organizations to gifts through the Kiwanis Children’s Fund.

UNICEF

Each year, Key Club members raise funds through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. From club fundraisers to traditional door-to-door collection and more, it’s a way to help UNICEF — a Key Club preferred charity — serve children around the world.

A gift form is available to download and use. Once you’ve collected all your donations, send a check or money order (made payable to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund) and your completed gift form to:

Kiwanis Children’s Fund
P.O. Box 6457 – Dept #286
Indianapolis, IN 46206 USA
ATTN: Trick-or-Treat

Be sure to include “Trick-or-Treat” and your club number on the memo line of the check.

If your club uses a coin-counting kiosk like Coinstar, please send the donations directly to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, not to UNICEF USA, so we can track the money raised by Kiwanis family clubs.

Thirst Project: Key Club Walks

Join Thirst Project and Key Club International as we walk to change the world! Donations are made through the Key Club Walks website: Key Clubs Walks – Thirst Project. This fundraising project takes place primarily in April of each year.

Youth Opportunities Fund

The Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF) is a way for donors to support the activities and future of Key Club International and its members around the world. The YOF provides financial support to Key Club International events and projects, as well as to individual Key Clubs and members through service grants, academic scholarships and other special projects.

You can support the YOF by giving a donation as an individual or club. For YOF donors, the following recognition opportunities are available:

    • The G. Harold Martin Fellowship can be obtained through a donation of US$250 by an individual or in honor of an individual. Recognition includes a lapel pin. A printed certificate is available on request. After you make your gift, an optional personalized plaque and wearable medallion can be purchased at the Kiwanis Family Store.
    • The A. G. Terry Shaffer Honorary is attained through a donation of US$1,000. Created in 2007 to recognize someone whose life is dedicated to supporting Key Club activities, it is the highest level of recognition offered by the YOF. The Shaffer Honorary can be made on behalf of an individual or an entity such as a club, corporation or organization. Recipients are presented with an attractive glass award. Created in 2007, the award is named after A. G. Terry Shaffer, a longtime Kiwanian who began his Kiwanis career as a Key Club member in Pennsylvania and ended it as Kiwanis International’s executive director.

If you mail your gift, please make the check payable to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund and include this gift form. Be sure to include “YOF” and your Club ID in the memo line. Send checks to:
