Playing basketball, listening to country music and singing show tunes with my older brother, Johnny. 

Why did you join Key Club?  David and another student stand smiling together, wearing suits in front of a brightly lit stage curtain.

I was nervous at the beginning of my freshman year and always felt more comfortable around my siblings. My older brother Danny was an active Key Club member, and I wanted to spend more time with him during school hours. 

What do you like most about Key Club International? 

The people. Key Club members are some of the most passionate, kind-hearted and interesting students in the world. I’m so grateful to have met so many amazing individuals.  David smiles, holding his hands together to form a heart, while standing behind a podium with the Key Club seal.

What is your favorite Key Club memory and why? 

The night my older brother Danny was elected Southwest District governor. Key Club has always been a family experience for me, and that night kicked off the whole journey. 

What is your career ambition?  

To be a screenwriter

“The Outsiders.” I’m a sucker for stories about brotherhood.

Grilled chicken and ketchup.
