Why did you decide to run for the international board?

I wanted to make a bigger impact on a bigger scale, and to do this I had to become more involved. Additionally, I wanted to make sure people’s voices are heard and listened to.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

Meeting new people and forming new friendships!

How welcoming and kind everyone is. Meeting people from all different backgrounds and cultures at the Key Club International convention made me want to embrace my culture further.

What is your favorite Key Club memory and why?

My favorite Key Club memory would have to be the 2022 district convention — my first district convention. I attended it with no expectations and no idea what I would get out of it. Turns out, it opened me up to so much opportunity and knowledge about Key Club and how Key Club is not just a club thing, but instead spans to district opportunities and even internationally. If I hadn’t gone to the district convention, I don’t think I would even be serving you all as an international trustee right now. Additionally, meeting new people who have goals similar to mine was very fun and incredible.

Why did you join Key Club?

I joined Key Club because I was in Builder’s Club in middle school, and Key Club is the high school version. Although as a freshman, Key Club was just another club I was joining, over the years it has opened my eyes to the effect I could make and how I could positively impact others. I’ve developed lifelong friendships and memories, and I am so glad that I decided to join this club as a freshman, not knowing where it would lead me today.

What is your career ambition?

I hope to pursue a career in engineering.

Somewhere you would like to visit in the future:

Hawaii, Paris, London and Australia

Favorite food or snack: Purple Doritos and popcorn

What is the best advice ever given to you?

Take the risk, even if it may seem scary. No matter what, you will gain something out of it, even if it is not the outcome you hoped to receive.

What is something people may not know about you?

Big shoutout to my siblings, Samantha and Jason, for always supporting me! Love you tons. 🙂
