At every club meeting, members state their commitment to building their homes, schools and communities through citing the Key Club pledge. Key Clubbers commit to building the homes they reside in, serving the schools in which they are privileged enough to learn and serving their communities. Communities are no longer defined based on location, but by a group of people who have similar ideals, passions and a common understanding of their purpose. Key Club International is a community of students who are dedicated to serving those around them.

As you may know, the Bahamas have recently been affected by Hurricane Dorian, a category 5 storm that directly hit the Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama. It caused mass destruction, resulted in the displacement of around 70,000 people and devastatingly took at least 43 lives. In the aftermath of natural disasters, people are in desperate need of basic supplies, including food, water, personal care items and other essentials. Collecting and delivering material items can be a challenge but making a donation to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund disaster relief grant program helps Kiwanis family members reach people in need. Click this link for more information on how to help.
