With a cornfield a block from his house, International Trustee Alex Drahos “didn’t expect to be meeting youth outside Iowa.” Yet through Key Club, he found himself immersed in various environments and cultures across North America. Outside of Key Club, Alex spends time promoting civic engagement in his community and volunteering for a government-affiliated policy advising agency. In between, he might be found playing a concerto in orchestra or going on a Target run. His peers often refer to school as his “part-time job” because of Key Club meetings, but he’s not complaining. In the coming years, Alexander plans to attend a university to major in public policy analysis.
