International Trustee Rachel Zhang uses the leadership skills and knowledge she has gained through her Key Club positions as lieutenant governor, district governor and trustee to proactively lead within her community. In addition to Key Club, she is involved in the Olmsted County Youth Commission, student government, Special Olympics, debate club and a student-led initiative that is working to write district policy on racial harassment. “Key Club has really shown me the value of using my platform to positively influence my community.” When she is not immersed in school or extracurriculars, she might be found at a coffee shop chatting with friends or going on Taco Bell runs. After high school, Rachel plans to attend a university to major in international relations with a minor in economics.
