Enrollment in the Global Leadership Certificate could lead to a prize and a convention perk.
To kick off the 2026-27 service year, we’re challenging every Key Club International member to maximize their leadership journey through the Global Leadership Certificate (GLC). The program helps Key Club members develop the skills to create positive change in their schools, communities and beyond.
Through courses on relationship building, leadership, empathy, resilience and more, participants get practical tools that help them lead with confidence.
And there’s another reason to enroll! The district with the highest percentage of GLC participation among new learners in the month of October will win a district pizza party at the 2027 Key Club International Convention. (A “new learner” is a Key Club member whose dues are paid and who has not previously completed a GLC course.) With a fully online format, GLC courses can be completed individually or in a group setting.
All participants will receive rewards as they complete GLC courses, with 10 completed courses earning a GLC sticker and 40 completed courses earning a commemorative “Race to 100K GLC Courses” special enamel pin. Members who complete all 40 GLC courses will also receive a digital commemorative certificate and an official LinkedIn badge that they can add to their professional profile, highlighting their leadership development and showcasing their accomplishment.
Currently, Key Club members have completed 86,200 completed GLC courses. You can help reach our goal of 100,000 courses completed!
