October Resources: Now Online

Virtual Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

Even in 2021, Key Clubs can continue their legacy of Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF! Key Club can register their clubs at TrickOrTreatForUNICEF.org/keyclub. Registration opens October 1.

Youth Opportunities Fund Grant (September 1-October 15)

Plan your next big service project and apply for a Youth Opportunities Fund grant ranging from US$250 to $2,000. Clubs and members can apply for funds from the Kiwanis Children’s Fund until October 15, 2021. Coming for the first time in 2022, a second grant cycle for the Key Club 2021-22 year is due March 1, 2022.

Global Leadership Certificate

The pilot program was such a success, we’re expanding it to a full program! Beginning October 12, new courses on a terrific new platform will be introduced. Throughout the year, we will continue adding new courses. We’re excited about providing access to this training to our Key Club members!

We’re serious about safety. Kiwanis International holds itself and its members to the highest standards of conduct and awareness. Check out these tools to provide safe and secure environments for youth.

Key Leader

Key Leader is a self-guided program intended for high school students, but it’s appropriate for anyone age 13 and up. It incorporates lessons and videos that are not part of the in-person Key Leader programs, so even students who have participated in Key Leader will find something new to learn and enjoy. It is available free of charge.
